Aberdeen Central Home to UK’s Greatest City Beach
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes comments from travel expert, Simon Calder, who has described Aberdeen as having the greatest city beach in the UK; notes Mr Calder’s praise for the culture and cuisine available from Aberdeen's seaside establishments; understands that Aberdeen Maritime Museum and The Silver Darling restaurant were singled out as locations of interest for tourists to the city; understands that Aberdeen is also known as the best dolphin watching spot in the country, and thanks local businesses on the beachfront who continue to make Aberdeen a gem for tourists from across the globe.
