Celebrating National Lottery Awards in Aberdeen Central

That the Parliament congratulates community organisations across the Aberdeen Central constituency that have recently been given support from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises the funding awarded to Scottish Women's Institutes Aberdeenshire Federation, Great Western Community Trust, Yahya’s International Hub, the Aberdeen Befriending Network, Granite City Taekwondo, Friends of Errol Place and the Bridge Club Aberdeen; believes that these awards will support a diverse range of projects, including financial support for women’s institutes, community activities for older people, support for young asylum seekers, initiatives to deal with loneliness, opportunities for young disabled people, health and wellbeing programmes and development of green spaces, and celebrates the organisations and what it sees as the valued work that they provide to Aberdeen.
