FUTURE OF THE MULTI-FIBRE ARRANGEMENT
Tabled by Gary Waller (Conservative)
58 signatures
The motion
That this House, acknowledging that trade cannot be free unless it is also fair, is unwilling to contemplate a timetable for phasing out the Multi-Fibre Arrangement without the coming into effect of a General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade agreement incorporating greatly strengthened enforceable rules and disciplines and the elimination of barriers to United Kingdom textile and clothing exports.
