Tabled by Gary Waller (Conservative) 25 signatures

The motion

That this House welcomes the completion of the Waterloo International terminal; congratulates all of those involved in its design and construction; in particular, considers it to be a prime example of the benefits for the nation which can flow from the skills and talents of British consulting engineers; notes that last year member firms of the Association of Consulting Engineers worked on overseas capital projects worth a remarkable ú60 billion; and calls on her Majesty's Government to support the work of consulting engineers, both at home and abroad, as a major contributor to the infrastructure of the United Kingdom and to British exports.
