Legal Services Bill [HL]
Lord Kingsland moved amendment 354, in clause 130, page 67, line 12, at end to insert: “(ha) for an ombudsman to award costs against the respondent in favour of the OLC for the purpose of providing a contribution to resources deployed in dealing with the complaint if— (i) the complaint against the respondent is determined or otherwise resolved substantially in favour of the complainant, or (ii) in the ombudsman’s opinion the respondent failed to deal with the complaint in accordance with the regulatory arrangements which the relevant approved regulator has made under section 109.” The House divided:

The party breakdowns are our own analysis of the official voting records (recorded votes only; they do not describe the formal whip). How we work this out.
Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
Tellers: Lord Cope of Berkeley (Content), Lord Shutt of Greetland (Content), Lord Davies of Oldham (Not Content), Lord Grocott (Not Content).
