Education Bill

Baroness Jones of Whitchurch moved amendment 84B, in clause 55, page 45, line 40, to leave out from “England” to end of line and insert “applies for an Academy Order, there must be a consultation on the question of whether the conversion should take place. (2) The consultation must seek the views of such persons as the person carrying it out thinks appropriate, but must include the views of parents of registered pupils, registered pupils, school staff and the local authority.” The House divided:
