Countryside and Rights of Way Bill
It was moved by the Earl Peel, in Clause 2, page 3, line 15, at end to insert: (“( ) Where on any day a person fails to comply with Schedule 2 or any restriction imposed under Chapter II, and, having been advised by the owner or by a person acting on his authority on two or more different occasions on the same day, on land in the same ownership, of the effect of that failure to comply, he again fails on the same day, on land in the same ownership, to comply with Schedule 2 or any restriction imposed under Chapter II, he shall be guilty of an offence and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding level 1 on the standard scale.”); which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:

The party breakdowns are our own analysis of the official voting records (recorded votes only; they do not describe the formal whip). How we work this out.
Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
Tellers: Earl of Northesk (Content), Earl Peel (Content), Lord Carter (Not Content), The Lord McIntosh of Haringey (Not Content).
