International Development (Official Development Assistance Target) Bill

Lord Butler of Brockwell moved amendment 25, in clause 6, page 3, line 1, to leave out subsection (2) and insert: “(2) This Act comes into force on such day on or after 1 June 2015 as the Secretary of State may by regulations made by statutory instrument appoint. (2A) A statutory instrument containing regulations under subsection (2) may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.” The House divided:
