Lord Pannick moved, as an amendment to the motion to approve the 2nd Report from the Select Committee, to leave out “agreed to” and insert “remitted to the Committee for Privileges and Conduct because the Commissioner for Standards failed to comply with paragraph 21 of the Code of Conduct which required her to act in accordance with the principles of natural justice and fairness.” The House divided:
