Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Bill [HL]

It was moved by the Lord Skelmersdale, in Clause 22, page 11, line 25, at end to insert: “( ) The provisions of this Act which apply to publishing, distributing or transmitting by electronic means shall not come into force until— (a) such time as they have been notified to the European Commission under the terms of Directive 98/34/EC (as amended by Directive 98/48/EC), and (b) such standstill obligations as the Directive requires have expired.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
