Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb moved, as an amendment to the motion in the name of Lord Sharpe of Epsom, to leave out the words last inserted and insert “this House declines to approve the draft Public Order Act 1986 (Serious Disruption to the Life of the Community) Regulations 2023 because Parliament has already rejected during consideration of primary legislation the proposals contained within those Regulations.” The House divided:
