It was moved by the Baroness Noakes, in Clause 12, page 6, line 3, at end to insert: “( ) In making the code the regulator shall ensure that the economic effect of all commitments to make payments over periods exceeding one year is taken into account.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
