It was moved by the Baroness Byford, in Clause 2, page 2, line 17, at end to insert: “( ) In the event of any significant, irreconcilable conflict in the delivery of Natural England’s objectives, greater weight shall be given to those relating to the conservation of the natural environment.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
