To ask the Scottish Government whether it has received communication from the Interception of Communications Commissioner’s Office regarding an investigation relating to Police Scotland.
Answer · Michael Matheson: Scottish Ministers are aware that the Interception of Communications Commissioner’s Office is investigating unnamed forces relating to breaches in acquiring communications data, as reported in the commissioner’s half-yearly report.
