What the petition asks
The House of Commons has recently declined the proposal to exempt women's sanitary products from taxation, tampons are not a luxury! How are pita breads and Jaffa cakes tax free as they are classed as an essential item, but women's sanitary products are a choice for women to buy? This is wrong!
