Petition · past parliament
Bring back legal aid in the family courts and in family law.

What the petition asks
Legal aid should be in place to help advise and provide the right representation to families going through the family courts. Average people do not have enough money or understanding of family law to help them resolve disputes.
More than 25,000 cases of children have been presented to Justice for Children (www.j4c.org.uk) missing out on good parents who have no idea of how to get their children and access back from the former partners.
