2.5bn coffee cups are thrown away annually in the UK, and only 1 in 400 (0.25%) are recycled . The rest are sent to landfill. With the market's continued growth, it's time action was taken to curb the coffee cup waste. Help us reduce waste and encourage re-usables, with a small tax on hot drink cups
