What the petition asks
It is an important component of modern democracy that politicians are seen to debate with each other away from the unrealistic atmosphere of the house of commons. They should be forced to debate with each other in front of a studio audience on live TV, especially during a general election campaign.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
