Opposition parties should be given the opportunity to debate their policies with the current government.

There should be the opportunity for members of the public to ask questions to all party leaders including the Prime Minister.

A democracy needs to be put under scrutiny.

A decision about whether to host a debate, and who to invite, would be the responsibility of the broadcasters, not the UK Government or Parliament.
