add a question to record ESA & PIP assessments to the ESA50 & PIP forms

What the petition asks
Add the following question to ESA50 form and PIP02 form asking if the claimant would like their assessment recorded? This should have been added from inception. Every assessment room should have recording equipment in it.
Recording of assessments should be MANDATORY and the recording should follow the written report from start to finish. Decision makers should use the recording and not the written report as health professionals could pick out select phrases from a reply to apply a different meaning to the full reply given by the claimant.Recordings would give the claimant more security as they would have a verbatim copy of everything said on the recording.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure what action you'd like Government or Parliament to take. If you'd like PIP, ESA and DLA medical assessments to be recorded, you could sign this petition:
Video record all PIP, ESA and DLA medical assessments with patient consent
If you'd like something different, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
