What the petition asks

How many people do you see driving along texting on their phone. We shouldn’t take this as a “sign of the times” cars have hands free kits now there’s no excuse. In a split second CRASH emotional and physical harm caused even death. Pleading with you to sign this to get it to a parliament debate.

Texting whilst driving needs to be treated with the same vigor as drink driving. If you have issue with this, it’s because you yourself do it.

If you kill a child who runs out? Give a cyclist life altering injuries or crash into someone who never has the confidence to drive again - all so you can send a friend that funny picture or text meaningless drivel.

Please ask the government to alter how this is reported it must be a public contribution not just the police who can catch the offenders!
