What the petition asks
As so many dogs are being abandoned and left in shelters or breeders using dogs for profit I believe we should have to pay a fee to own and licence our dogs. If you would like to breed your dog you should also have to pay a fee (before) you breed and if not your dog should be neutered.
Dogs are being bred and dumped at an alarming rate, if people are forced to put their hand in their pocket (fees to go to shelters and Pdsa) to own such an amazing creature I think the irresponsible dog owners would be weeded out from the good!
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
