Petition · past parliament

Make election manifesto legally binding if elected to government.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Past political parties have used their election manifestos to entice votes based on PROMISES that are never kept. Manifestos today are just lies used to draw votes . The truth needs to be at the front line of politics so making a manifesto legally binding if elected would cut out the lies.
We were promised £ 100,000 of estate safe from care home taxes still only a quarter of that.
Both major parties campaign on a brexit manifesto of which both have faltered on along the past 2 years.
