Petition · past parliament
Make all party political manifestos legally binding.

What the petition asks
Politicians must stop 'promising' things to 'get the vote', then say this can no longer be achieved. Legally binding manifestos would solve unrealistic 'promises' and hold politicians to account. The electorate would know exactly what they are voting for and avoid some of the chaos seen over Brexit.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
