Create further measures tackling knife crime in London and throughout the UK

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

In 2018, there were 40,000 stabbings in England and Wales alone. We want further measures in place preventing and tackling this epidemic and creating a safer environment for citizens throughout the UK.
There have been more than 30 stabbings in London this year so far.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about knife crime, but are not sure what exactly you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to tackle knife crime.
