What the petition asks

The Government are writing off millions in unpaid child support debts.
This petition is to demonstrate to MPs that we-the public they serve, refuse to accept their actions of striking off money owed to our children.

The government is reviewing the historic debt in some Child Support Agency cases.
Much of this debt can’t be recovered and will be permanently written off.

What this means for you:
We plan to write off the full amount outstanding from this case.

What happens next:
We can’t guarantee that looking again at your case that we can recover the unpaid child maintenance owed to you.
