Make allowing an injury causing dog on dog attack by an owner a criminal offence
Rejected

What the petition asks
Lottie was attacked by a dog & suffered some horrific injuries. The attacking dog was not under the proper control of its owner/walker. Currently unless a person is in fear of being attacked by or is attacked by the attacking dog, the law does not consider dog on dog attacks to be a criminal offence.
Owners/responsible persons must be held accountable, under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, if their dog is allowed to attack another dog; where injuries are caused to the victim dog, by intentionally allowing their dog to cause harm to another dog or through recklessness.
