Cut the Wages of all the BBC Presenters to the level of inflation since 1981

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

1981 Kenneth Kendall earn’t £16,000 for 8 million viewers. In 2019 this would be worth £61000. Huw Edwards earns £490,000 for 5 million viewers. By my calculations that’s a 703% increase, so Huw Edwards should be earning £61,000. Now the BBC wants to cut FREE TV licences for over 75 year olds.
