Support the right of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to Self-determination

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I am deeply concerned about the risks to the right to life, liberty, and security of persons due to unprecedented restrictions on freedom of speech and movement in all regions of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and ongoing serious violations of fundamental human rights by the Indian Security Forces.
The State of Jammu and Kashmir is in turmoil and at the same level of risk to international peace and security as it was on 27th October 1947 when the Indian armed forces landed in Kashmir. India has changed the conditional accession of this disputed State to enforced annexation by clamping down civil liberties and revoking Article 370 and 35-A of the Indian constitution.
