Force retailers to prevent panic buying during a national crisis by rationing

What the petition asks
Panic buying can be a self fulfilling prophecy, as people buy in panic, to avoid missing out when others panic buy. Retailers could stop this if they limit sales to x/customer, legislate so government can trigger this action in times of crisis.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
