Make black market racketeering a criminal offence during Covid19 Emergency
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
Government to pass emergency legislation to make it illegal for individuals to stockpile necessary medical related supplies with the intent of profiting from sales on for example E-bay or Amazon during the present COVID19 Pandemic.
Basically the COVID19 Pandemic is placing the UK in what is equivalent to a war footing. The racketeering of blackmarketeers needs to be addressed in the same way it was during the last two World Wars.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Restrict people stockpiling and reselling items at inflated prices
