Petition · past parliament

Charge higher prices those buy more than 3 of any produce to stop stock piling.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

For those stock piling charge higher pricing for at the shops. If buying any more than 3 of any item charge a higher cost and double the pricing.
Despite restriction on shopping and timings the big stores like Aldi and Morrisons are still stripped bare by 9am in the mornings and there still no food, no toilet roll, and no one else is able to buy what they need for the week. Its becoming very difficult and starting to both put people's mental and physical health at risk.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government and Parliament are not responsible for the price at which traders sell consumer goods.

We have published a petition calling for the Government to introduce limits on customer purchases in all supermarkets: Introduce limits on per customer purchases in all supermarkets
