What the petition asks

Stop the food price hike, freeze the food, medicine, hygiene product prices from 21/03/2020 when the supermarkets started to hike the prices.

I find out the shortage caused by the supermarkets for the attempting to hike the food prices.
I've started an investigation into how the panic effected the supermarkets and the off-license shops. I've found out that the off license shop shelves are always full while the supermarkets doesn't fill their shelves for days and weeks.
I started the investigation 2 weeks ago (02/03/2020).
The supermarkets started to hike the prices on 22/03/2020 and we need to stop them and pretend them to take advantage on the crisis.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The price of consumer goods is a matter for individual producers and retailers, not the Government or Parliament.
