Supermarkets open for online only, Hire Redundant taxi drivers for deliveries.

What the petition asks

Supermarkets can control limits for purchases, this stops people gathering at supermarkets whilst giving taxi drivers work.

Drivers can still work whilst isolating as they have no passenger

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The arrangements for online supermarket services and the hiring of staff are a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or Parliament. A number of retailers have announced plans to prioritise elderly or vulnerable customers.
