What the petition asks
To allow the newly self employed a couple of weeks to submit their 19/20 tax return to be eligible for the self employment COVID-19 grant.
The newly self employed have been forgotten about, the 19/20 tax return is very close so therefore should be allowed to use that for the COVID-19 self employment grant.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
