What the petition asks
Suspend any bank holidays during the period of COVID-19 to be re-instated later this year, or next.
People self-isolating will not be able to enjoy the bank holiday. Those working need to working to support the country. Food shops need to remain open during the period of lockdown.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
