What the petition asks

Change the DfE guidance to acknowledge funding is a payment for services and therefore we are entitled to claim retention scheme like any other business

It is penalising the early years businesses/charities. The DfE is ignoring that we have other costs and they are not privy to our financials or business setups. We have contracts with our local authorities to provide a service and the DfE cannot decide suddenly that the funding is purely for salary.

Why it was rejected
