What the petition asks
On the 17th April the government made a U turn on the financial support for Early Years Settings
Now if settings have claimed funding they will not be able to claim the furlough scheme, which will cause mass redundancies, and many early years settings to close.
Now if settings have claimed funding they will not be able to claim the furlough scheme, which will cause mass redundancies, and many early years settings to close.
Early years settings will not be able to survive on the £4 ph the government give for children's funding, they already work at a loss with the funding. The funding wont cover wages let alone any other outgoings. Early Years setting are not entitled to any of the small business support laid out by the government so they will not survive this without government financial support.
