Save the seals, ban the sale of flying rings.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

Every year, seals are rescued with discarded or lost plastic flying rings embedded into their necks. These are the ones which are found and have a chance of being nursed back to health, unfortunately, many aren't so lucky and go on to suffer agonising deaths.

Please discuss the possibility of banning the sale of flying rings.
Whilst playing with flying rings is fun and involves healthy outdoor exercise, it's not worth the risk.
Most people would not intentionally harm a seal or any wildlife but might not be aware of the dangers.
Thankyou.
