People want change on how mental health is treated in the workplace

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The current legislation that covers mental health in the work place is not strong enough. Many companies are having negative impacts on employee mental health and nothing is done about it.
Be more proactive in enforcing current legislation around mental health in the work place. Create clear guidance on mental health in the work place, setting out standards companies need to be setting. Mental Health needs to be treated with the same seriousness physical health is. Those who deal with Health & Safety and or work in HR to receive mental health training. Similar guidance on mental health as there is to physical health from the HSE concentrating on trained persons and policy
