Give parents a choice to send children back to school or continue home schooling

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Give parents a choice. Allow parents to continue home schooling their children if they wish, with full online support from the school and without the risk of facing fines and potential legal action being taken against them.
Some children performed just as well if not better during lockdown outsideof the school setting. Other children have performed poorly and need the school environment.
Parents should be able to decide if their child returns to school without facing punishment.
Schools should support children wish to learn at home by providing the online platforms they did throughout lockdown.
This in turn would aid the ability to social distance in schools as it would mean less pupils attending
