What the petition asks
Clinically vulnerable children and children who have clinically vulnerable parents, carers or siblings are required to attend school despite the threat of contracting COVID. Parents are being threatened with fines and prosecutions and many parents are being forced to de register their child.
Stop parents being penalised for non attendance due to fear of a clinically vulnerable person contracting Covid. Stop forcing parents to send their children for fear of fines or prosecution. Stop forcing parents to de register their child for fear of fines or prosecution. Allow all children to keep their school places until the pandemic is over. Provide all children with access to education via blended learning.
