What the petition asks
The UK government are considering plans to send migrants & asylum seekers to purpose built detention facilities in the Atlantic Ocean.
Such detention facilities have been used in Australia and have caused significant trauma and distress in an already traumatised population.The proposal is inhumane

The UK government is in the early stages of drawing up plans to create such centres, and as experts have warned, this could create a ‘human rights disaster’. Sign this petition to stop any plans in its tracks and remind the UK government we are a tolerant and fair society.
