Consider extra curricular activities as education

What the petition asks
How do you think lifeguards, swimming coaches, horse riding instructors, music/ PE/ dance teachers, performers form a career?!
There would be no chance of these careers without the commitment and hard work that goes in outside of school hours!!
There would be no chance of these careers without the commitment and hard work that goes in outside of school hours!!
Consider these activities ‘education’ and value them in the same way as you do schools. Keep dance/ swimming/ theatre classes etc running in the same way you do schools during the pandemic.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you want various sectors to be considered as 'education' but it's not clear what you mean by this or what specific action you'd like the Government to take.
