Let kids learn remotely while cases of covid are high and during lockdown

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Parents need a choice to keep children at home during lockdown and in any tier 3 or above areas provided the children are able to learn remotely. Those that are able to keep their children at home should be able to without fear of fines or threats
This would lower the cases of covid
Give parents the freedom to choose whether to send their kids to school or use remote learning which all schools have in place for this situation
This would likely lead to a lessening of covid cases and transmission
Latest figures show both primary and secondary schools are drivers for covid infections
These are often passed on to vulnerable family members who get more ill and then in turn this puts pressure on the NHS
