What the petition asks
Given the number of drug deaths in Scotland that continue to increase I think it is important to re-visit this proposal that was previously declined by the uk government. Evidence from other countries shows that such services can greatly help a vulnerable population and be beneficial for society.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as devolving powers to the Scottish Government to allow them to set up drug consumption rooms. Or you might like to sign this petition:
Introduce Drug Consumption Rooms to prevent drug-related deaths in the UK
