Prevent early termination contract charges on broadband when switching provider

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Create a law banning early contract termination charges for broadband consumers when switching providers, using a service similar to the energy switch.
Broadband is now a necessity, and it's unfair on the consumer to be tied to a lengthy contract should a new provider offer a better rate and download speeds.
The consumer should be able to switch providers without early termination fees or paying the remainder of their contract in full.
