Cancel Apprenticeship End Point Assessments
Rejected
19 signatures
What the petition asks
We are asking the Government to cancel End Point Assessments and enable apprentices to move on and progress, by allowing Teachers/Lecturers to look at completed work (logbooks, exams, testimonies and photographs) and pass or fail the qualification based on the Apprentices individual progression.
Apprenticeships have been left out of government responses to COVID-19. Apprentices are left in limbo, they are not qualified as they have not completed End Point Assessment. They are not able to progress further with their chosen career path. This is affecting many Apprentice's mental health as they are left unqualified. Many apprentices are choosing to leave their Apprenticeships to pursue paid work elsewhere.
