Take away the TV licence and make BBC a subscription service

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The need for a TV licence is no longer necessary with more and more people using online streamlining services. There is also no longer a need as the TV licence is need for BBC only as that is the the only channel that doesn't have adverts.
Because it was the government that brought it into being in the first place.
