Take longer school hours and shorter holidays off the table for 'catch up'

What the petition asks
Take discussions about extended school hours and shorter holidays off the table. Discuss quality of education not quantity.
Children have been accessing the curriculum spending full days on screens.
Extended hours: it will discourage learning, cramming doesn't work.
Shorter holiday: children need time to catch up with loved ones, friends, clubs, camping, museums, libraries.
Don't damage our children's mental health. Learning is much more than the curriculum.
Trust schools with the funding- they know what's best for our children!
Children, teachers and parents have worked
hard enough- we all need a break!
